Refund and Return Policy

How refunds work: the existing rules for professional-service engagements, plus the Veterinary Business Launch Bundle three-day satisfaction period for physical and digital components, and the separate five-day window to report damaged, missing or incorrect items.

JY Services & More Inc. d/b/a Menendez Vet Financial Group

This Refund and Return Policy applies to purchases made from JY Services & More Inc., d/b/a Menendez Vet Financial Group (the "Firm"). It is organized so that two different situations are never confused: professional-service engagements on one side, and purchases of the Veterinary Business Launch Bundle, an educational product, on the other.

This policy supplements and does not replace the Firm's Standard Terms and Conditions or any signed Service Agreement. Where a signed engagement addresses cancellation or refunds, that engagement and the Standard Terms and Conditions continue to govern that engagement.

1. Professional Service Engagements (Unchanged)

Cancellation and refunds for professional tax, accounting, payroll, bookkeeping, business-formation, planning and advisory services continue to be governed by Sections 4 and 5 of the Standard Terms and Conditions and by the client's signed Service Agreement. Nothing in this policy modifies, reduces, or replaces those provisions.

In summary, and without limiting those provisions: the first payment made at signing is non-refundable; a written cancellation request may be submitted within the first seven (7) continuous days after the initial onboarding session; any partial refund of an additional payment made within that period is subject to the Firm's sole evaluation of work already performed and will not exceed fifty percent (50%) of the additional payment unless the signed engagement states otherwise. Government and state filing fees are non-refundable once remitted to the applicable agency.

2. Veterinary Business Launch Bundle — Refunds and Returns

This Section applies only to purchases of the Veterinary Business Launch Bundle (the "Bundle"). The Bundle is an educational product. A Bundle purchase is not a professional-service engagement, and requesting or receiving a Bundle refund has no effect on any engagement, and vice versa.

Because the Bundle may include both physical educational materials and digital educational resources, the two are handled separately below. Three different situations are kept distinct and are not combined into one generic deadline: (A) a three (3) calendar-day satisfaction refund, where the purchaser received the Bundle and decides it is not right for them; (B) a five (5) calendar-day reporting period for a physical shipment that arrives damaged, defective, incomplete or incorrect; and (C) a fulfillment or shipping failure, where an order is lost in transit, materially delayed, or incorrectly fulfilled by the Firm.

3. Three-Day Satisfaction Period (Physical and Digital)

The Firm provides a three (3) calendar-day satisfaction period for the Bundle. The purchaser may review the Bundle during that period and decide whether it is right for them. This satisfaction period applies to both the physical components and the digital components of the Bundle.

A refund request must be submitted in writing within three (3) calendar days of the applicable delivery date. Because the components may be delivered on different dates, the deadline is measured separately for each component rather than as a single combined deadline:

  • Physical components: the three (3) calendar-day period begins on the date carrier tracking confirms delivery of the physical materials.
  • Digital components: the three (3) calendar-day period begins on the date digital access is first delivered or otherwise made available to the purchaser. Where digital resources are delivered before the physical materials, the digital period runs from that earlier digital delivery date, and the physical period still runs from confirmed physical delivery.
  • How to request: send a written request to the Firm's notice email within the applicable period, with the order number and the components concerned. The Firm will confirm eligibility and, where physical materials are involved, provide return instructions.

The purchaser is expressly permitted to open, access, review and evaluate the digital resources during the applicable three-day satisfaction period. Opening, downloading, viewing, activating or accessing a digital resource during that period does not, by itself, make the purchase non-refundable.

4. Refund Amount

Where a qualifying request is made within the applicable three-day satisfaction period, the purchaser may receive a refund of the eligible purchase amount, issued to the original payment method.

A refund may be reduced by the non-refundable payment-processing or merchant-processing fees actually charged in connection with the transaction, and only to the extent permitted by applicable law. This is not a penalty, restocking fee, cancellation fee, or administrative charge: it reflects the actual non-refundable processing amount retained by the payment processor on that transaction, and no fixed percentage is applied. Where applicable law requires a full refund without such a deduction, applicable law controls.

5. Physical Product Returns

Where an approved satisfaction refund involves physical materials, the purchaser requests the return within the applicable three (3) calendar-day period and returns the materials to the Firm following the return instructions provided by customer support. Nothing in this Section prevents the purchaser from reasonably reviewing and handling the physical materials during the satisfaction period.

  • Return shipping: for a voluntary return based on preference or dissatisfaction, rather than a defect or a Firm error, the purchaser is responsible for the actual return-shipping cost.
  • No restocking fee: no restocking fee is charged on any return.
  • Original outbound shipping: original outbound shipping charges may remain non-refundable on voluntary or change-of-mind returns, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
  • Return instructions first: the Firm will confirm eligibility and provide return instructions before materials are sent back, so the return can be matched to the order.
  • Defects and Firm errors are not voluntary returns: where materials arrived damaged, defective, incomplete or incorrect, or where the Firm shipped in error, Section 7 applies and the purchaser is not charged shipping attributable to that issue.

6. Digital Products and Resources

Digital educational resources receive the same three (3) calendar-day satisfaction and refund opportunity described in Section 3, measured from the date digital access is first delivered or made available. Purchasers may access, open, review and test the digital resources during that period to determine whether the Bundle is right for them.

After the applicable three (3) calendar-day period expires, digital resources are generally non-refundable, except in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate charges for the same order.
  • Billing errors, including a charge for a Bundle that was never delivered.
  • Unresolved material technical-access failures attributable to the Firm. Where a purchaser cannot access a digital resource, the Firm will first work to restore access, including reissuing credentials or links; where a material access failure attributable to the Firm cannot be resolved, a refund is available.
  • Any refund required by applicable law.

Sharing access credentials, redistributing, reselling, republishing, or otherwise misusing digital resources in breach of the Standard Terms and Conditions may result in termination of access without refund, in addition to any other remedy available to the Firm.

7. Damaged, Defective, Missing or Incorrect Items

This reporting period is separate from, and additional to, the three-day satisfaction period in Section 3. The purchaser has five (5) calendar days from confirmed delivery of the physical materials to report items that arrived damaged or defective, physical items missing from the shipment, or incorrect items received.

  • What to send: where reasonably necessary, the Firm may request the order number, a description of the issue, and photographs of the item, the packaging, or the shipment.
  • Remedy: where the Firm shipped the wrong item, an item arrived damaged or defective, or a physical component was missing, the Firm will provide an appropriate replacement, refund, or other remedy, without charging the purchaser additional shipping attributable to that issue.
  • No condition penalty: a report under this Section is not treated as a voluntary return, and the purchaser is not charged return shipping, a restocking fee, or a handling charge for it.

Nothing in this Section limits any right or remedy the purchaser has under applicable consumer-protection law.

8. Incorrect Addresses, Refused Shipments and Lost Packages

The purchaser is responsible for submitting a complete and accurate shipping address, including any apartment, suite or unit number.

  • Customer address error: where a shipment must be sent again because the purchaser entered an incorrect or incomplete address, failed to provide necessary delivery information, or otherwise caused the shipment to be returned as undeliverable through incorrect information the purchaser provided, the purchaser is responsible for the actual reshipping cost. No handling penalty, markup, restocking fee or administrative charge is added.
  • Firm error: where the address or fulfillment error was caused by the Firm, the Firm is responsible for the corrective shipping cost.
  • Refused shipments: where a purchaser voluntarily refuses a correctly addressed shipment and later asks for the order to be shipped again, the purchaser may be responsible for the actual reshipping cost. Refusing a shipment does not, by itself, forfeit refund rights; the three-day satisfaction policy in Section 3 and applicable consumer law continue to apply.
  • Lost packages: where the carrier confirms a package as lost in transit, the Firm will work with the purchaser and the carrier to provide an appropriate replacement, refund or other resolution, and the purchaser is not charged a second shipping fee solely because the carrier lost the shipment. A package marked delivered but reported missing may first be subject to a reasonable carrier or delivery investigation.

9. Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback for a Bundle purchase, the purchaser agrees to contact the Firm in writing and allow a reasonable internal review. Section 16 of the Standard Terms and Conditions applies to chargebacks related to Bundle purchases.

10. Related Policies

This policy is incorporated into the Firm's Standard Terms and Conditions and should be read together with them, with the Educational & Tax Disclaimer, and with the Shipping & Delivery Policy, Digital Access Terms and Privacy Policy as they apply to Bundle purchases.

Summary of the approved rules: three (3) calendar days to request a satisfaction refund, measured from confirmed physical delivery for physical components and from first digital access for digital components; five (5) calendar days to report damaged, defective, missing or incorrect physical items; no restocking fee; the purchaser pays actual return shipping on voluntary returns and actual reshipping cost where incorrect customer-provided address information caused the reshipment; refunds may exclude the actual non-refundable merchant-processing fees only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
