The Problem

You probably don’t have
an income problem. You have a structure
problem.

Your veterinary income may be growing, but without the right structure, decisions around entities, payroll, expenses and taxes can create more confusion. These are the signs your income has outgrown the way it is being managed.

01 — Income Structure

Your income is growing, but it is not being managed through one coordinated business structure.

Still receiving income under your SSN, combining W-2 and 1099 work, or unsure whether an LLC or S-Corp is appropriate.

  • Income paid under your SSN
  • W-2 and 1099 handled separately
02 — Business Operations

Your financial activity is happening, but the systems behind it are incomplete.

Personal and business expenses are mixed, bookkeeping is inconsistent, and payroll or reasonable compensation remains unclear.

  • Mixed personal and business expenses
  • Unclear payroll and S-Corp maintenance
03 — Tax Planning

You are preparing for taxes by guessing instead of planning.

You are estimating what to save, making disconnected payments, and learning the real number after many planning opportunities have already passed.

  • Guessing how much to save
  • Surprised when tax season arrives
What This Creates

More income should create more opportunity — not more confusion.

Without a connected foundation, higher income can lead to missed deductions, unnecessary taxes, compliance problems and less confidence in every financial decision.

A Specialized Mission

Financial structure designed around how veterinary professionals actually earn, work, and grow.

Veterinary Medicine Became Personal. Building the Right Financial Structure Became Our Mission.

My connection to veterinary medicine began through my brother’s career. Watching his journey gave me a close look at the dedication, long hours, and responsibility that come with building a life in this profession.

It also helped me see the financial decisions that begin to appear as a veterinary career grows—from W-2 and 1099 income to relief work, business formation, payroll, deductions, and proactive tax planning.

As an Enrolled Agent and experienced tax professional, I help individuals and business owners navigate complex tax matters, strengthen their financial structure, and make informed decisions before tax season. I am federally authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS nationwide.

I created Menendez Vet Financial Group because veterinary professionals deserve more than generic tax preparation. They deserve a financial structure built around the way they actually earn, work, and grow.

Our mission is to help veterinary professionals build the structure behind their income so they can operate with more clarity, confidence, and control.
