Before Menendez Vet Financial Group existed, founder Desiree Menendez, EA, had already built her career around taxes, payroll, business systems, and financial compliance — working with leading organizations including ADP as an Implementation Specialist and Intuit TurboTax in a leadership role.
Shortly before becoming a federally licensed Enrolled Agent, Desiree made the decision to step away from the corporate world and build her own firm, bringing that experience directly to business owners who needed more than traditional tax preparation.
But veterinary medicine became personal.
As Desiree became increasingly involved in the business and financial side of her brother Jaime’s veterinary practice, she saw firsthand how different the financial world of veterinary professionals really is — from compensation and payroll to business structure, taxes, growth, and the transition from clinician to business owner.
What began as helping family became a deeper understanding of an entire profession, culture, and its unique financial realities.
That experience ultimately shaped Menendez Vet Financial Group into what it is today: financial strategy built specifically for veterinary professionals, by a team that understands their world because they are part of it.
